In the beginning there was silence
the silence was good
he separated the silence
and called it heaven and earth
they were sad to be separated
the sadness cried
out of compassion for their tears
she created joining together
there were sounds of gladness
and he called the sounds music

I was born
not of man and woman
but of heaven and earth
music
silence
and tears
