The Spring-Summer 1998 Authors


Joseph Conlin is a freelance writer from Fairfield, Connecticut. Mr. Conlin has been writing since the age of ten and has published his stories in the Hob-Nob Literary Journal, the Maryland Review, and the Sulphur River Review among others. He is a member of the YMCA's Writers Voice and the Writers Club's Dawn Patrol on AOL.

Patricia Cook is a part time teacher from Trumbull, Connecticut. Ms. Cook has been writing for the past 50 years and has published work in the Atlanta Review, Christianity and Literature, and Arkenstone. She won an award for a travel poem in the New York State Poetry Society. Ms. Cook is a member of the Stamford Poets group.

Halsted is a poet and writer from Fairfield, Connecticut and past contributor to The Fairfield Review. Ms. Halsted has been writing poetry for the past twenty five years and has published work in The Connecticut River Review, for the National Council of Churches, in college literary magazines, and Randolph-Macon Literary Magazine, where she was poetry editor. She is a member of the Writers Workshop, Westport Poetry Workshop, and Fairfield Poets.

Curtis Johnson is a senior planner from Waterbury, Connecticut. Mr. Johnson has been writing since the age of sixteen and has published in the Connecticut Post, Conscious Living, and VMOJA News. He recently won the Black Artist Award, Kwanza Productions. Mr. Johnson is a member of the Fairfield Poets.

Patty Mooney is a video producer and writer from San Diego, California. Ms. Mooney has been writing for the past 23 years and has published work in a number of on- and off-line journals, including A little Poetry, Free Zone Quarterly, and Snakeskin. She has won a number of awards for her poetry, including first places in the California Press Women's Poetry contest and the Red Cedar Review.

Daniel Vollaro is an book editor from Clinton New Jersey. Mr. Vollaro has also been writing since the age of ten. He has previously published in the Blue Moon Review and the Jersey Shore Magazine.
