          Joy Shakes the Earth

          Joy shakes the earth
          And heaven opens wide
          To show us innocence inside.
          In this splendor
          Surrender heart, and gaze
          As love descends
          Ablaze with golden light.

          Joy shakes the earth
          And rocks the child within
          Rock, rock to comfort him.
          A mother's arms enfold
          The Jesus child
          Cuddled in protective robe.

          His baby coo shall future voice
          Salvation's news, Rejoice.
          Our voices sound
          Crescendo grows,
          Reverberates from shore to sea
          The foretold prophesy.

          Swing, twirl, lift
          Ours the gift.
          Take child, take joy
          And dance in adoration
          To celebrate the holy birth
          And joy shall shake the earth.
