On Our Way By Rebecca Clark We are waylaid at a twist by an array of enormous spheres, cycling cups, on thin metal arms Stricken with their glimmer, in the afternoon light, we are lured where silver beings tower or strung between trees, as they bow and stretch We wander, fallen into Even the resident dog that shepherds us We leave with a teardrop in the turnaround, a twirling reminder |
