the metaphysical

one liner

not gifted to portray
the scenes exotic
universally acclaimed
to be the most poetic
the ones that make
you gasp, for air

and understanding

it should say.
he set the stage
arranged the lights
and at the moment

precisely right

a child spoke,
sometimes in doubt
more often hope
